Inspired by Independent Musicians across the globe.

Mustard first began supporting independent musicians on the popular application TikTok. It was their goal to help promote and hype up these artists to the best of a condiment’s ability.

Music Shelf with Mustard was born out of an idea from North Carolina band, Carhop. They messaged JustSomeMustard on TikTok with an idea for a website that would further expand what Mustard was already doing on the application – promoting artists from the independent music scene.

This is that website.

Since its launch Music Shelf has interviewed over 200 independent musicians from all over the globe. Music Shelf does not turn away musicians based on genre, etc like other platforms. JSM along with Mr. Substitute and Gimpleg support all genres!
